PostgreSQL 9.0 IS NOW AVAILABLE!

This newest version of PostgreSQL is now supported for your Hub.Org hosted database needs.

PostgreSQL 9.0 introduces more than 200 improvements and new features and has dramatically improved its performance for all your enterprise database requirements. In addition to all the capabilities we have come to depend on, a few of the major enhancements include:

  • built-in streaming binary replication
  • Hot standby
  • Streaming replication
  • In-place upgrades-
  • Easy mass permissions management
  • Anonymous blocks and named parameter calls for stored procedures
  • New windowing functions and ordered aggregates

Hub.org has been a proud supporter of, and contributor to, PostgreSQL since its emergence from UofC Berkeley back in 1995.

Our clients have the availability of both dedicated and shared resources,depending on their plan level.

For our dedicated database clients, literally, all released versions of PostgreSQL are available, so even applications that haven't been updated tothe latest and greatest version can be run.

For shared database clients, we provide access to all of the major releasedversions of PostgreSQL, with the following currently being available:

  • PostgreSQL 7.4.x
  • PostgreSQL 8.4.x
  • PostgreSQL 9.0.x

MySQL
Our clients have the availability of both dedicated and shared resources, depending on their plan level.

For dedicated clients, literally, all released versions of MySQL are available, so even applications that haven't been updated to the latest and greatest version can be run.

For shared clients, we provide access to all of the major released versions of MySQL, with the following currently being available:

  • MySQL 4.1.x
  • MySQL 5.0.x
  • MySQL 5.1.x
